Peso ⇄ Dollar privacy policy

In short

Peso ⇄ Dollar does not collect personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Nothing you type leaves your device.

What stays on your device

To open where you left off, the app saves three things on your phone or in your browser:

• the last amount you typed and the direction (dollars to pesos or pesos to dollars);
• the last exchange rate it fetched, with its date;
• the 30-day rate history used for the small chart.

The installed app also keeps a copy of its own files on your device, so it opens without internet. This data is not sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app, or clearing the site data in your browser, deletes it.

What the app requests from the internet

To get the exchange rate, the app downloads public rate data from two services:

• Frankfurter, which publishes the European Central Bank reference rates;
• ExchangeRate-API, used as a cross-check.

These requests contain no personal data and nothing you typed. Like any internet request, they reach those services from your device's IP address.

Device permissions

The app asks for no permissions. On Android phones it may vibrate briefly when you tap a key, which needs no permission.

This website

yellow72.com uses no cookies and no analytics. The company that hosts the website may keep standard server logs (IP address, time and page requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app starts handling data differently, this page will be updated before or together with that version, and the date above will change.
